Videos about the reflective practitioner
At the autumn of 2017, Aarhus University wanted some new commercials for the different educational lines at their Digital Design Education.
The five educational lines were the Bachelor line and the four masters lines: Masters A1, Masters A2, Audiodesign and Ph.d. Digital Design is an education that contains both practical and theoretical elements.
When making the video for the bachelor line, it was important for us to represent both aspects of the education. Therefore, the videos is a mix of both descriptive interviews, and demonstrative clips of students engaging with course.
When making the videos for the masters lines we contacted four graduates from the different lines and interviewed them at their work. We went with this approach as we thought this offered more value for a student deciding what masters line to choose.
Created in dialogue with the stakeholders
The videos was made in close dialogue with Aarhus University. We created the videos over several iterations, showing each new edition to a representative from the university. By doing this, we were sure that the quality of the videos was kept up to the desired standards of the university.
